Additional Notes

  • We use secure SSL-encrypted key-based authentication to sync your data from Quickbooks into Flywheel.
  • Orders/Invoices/Estimates must be created in Quickbooks – they cannot be created in Flywheel.
  • New customers must be entered in Quickbooks for syncing to Flywheel prior to entries being added, except for “On Premise Plus” edition.

Notes on Quickbooks On-Premise:

  • A Quickbooks administrator must create a dedicated Flywheel user with read-only access to data (except for “Plus” – read/wright must be enabled for Customers).
  • Quickbooks On-Premise requires onsite software installation as listed in our Knowledge Base
  • If your Quickbooks server changes location/IP address syncing will no longer function. Please notify Flywheel if any changes occur in your Quickbooks environment to prevent an interruption in service.
